Citrus limonum is a thorny, evergreen tree with irregular branches, bearing glistening, oval leaves. Its flowers are white and pink-tinged and strongly perfumed, which become the lemon fruit.
We buy organic lemons, grown without pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals, which means you get the full, natural benefits of the fruit. We then use them in a variety of ways in some of our finest products.
Lemon juice works to tone and purify the skin. Lemons are rich in vitamin C.
This olive-brown seaweed is found at all British coastal areas and around the Irish coasts, too. It grows densely on the seashore; each serrated, strap-like frond is about two centimetres wide and originates from a stalk, anchoring it to the sea bed.
Alginates of seaweed origins are used to form emulsions, barrier creams and hand creams.
Crude preparations and extractions of seaweeds have been used for their medicinal properties for centuries. They were often used to make cough remedies, soothing lotions and cosmetics.
To make an infusion, we simply add fresh, organic lemons and toothed wrack seaweed to boiling water. We then strain the mixture and add it to our products.
The infusion makes a perfect ingredient for our Daddyo shampoo. The combination of the two ingredients gives hair lustre, shine and body, while conditioning and softening the scalp, too.
